This is the same elephant as yesterday. He (she?) was quite the character, raising his trunk and showing off for the spectators. Look at that face. Tell me he has no soul or feelings. *sigh* I wish I would have been a little more assertive and asked questions from the trainer.
The lighting was mid-day and spotty due to surrounding trees. Thus, the blown trunk. I should have shot RAW, but didn't have time to fool with too many settings. I am happy, though, as the eye and face are well exposed.
I am off to John Hopkins for long awaited medical tests today. Those who have followed my "home" blog know this is a long time coming. Wish me luck! I hope they finds some answers. It will be an all day ordeal, so I may not be able to visit everyone until tomorrow.
Oh, and we finally had our initial safety inspection for foster care yesterday. We need to get a fire extinguisher (which we should have, fostering or not) and we will be good to go to be a respite for two children in November! Woot!
