Sand Beach, Acadia National Park
The fog would come in off the water in spurts. Here you can see the beginning signs of white on the right where the wind would blow the fog to shore.
This is a really excellent shot Tracey. The rocks, the water and the colorful people in the background all make for an outstanding photo.

A beautiful climate in summer. I suspect winter is a challenge inland a bit.

@Chris: Yes, there were a lot of people there that day. It was the warmest day so everyone flocked to the beach. The fog was so crazy! It seemed to come out of no where!
Your Acadia Park is a cool arcadia! Wonderful capture!
