@dj.tigersprout: Thanks dj!
Very strange looking footprints. Have I mentioned I need a trip to the beach?

@sherri: I know! The sand was so soft that when you walked, your whole foot would sink and your toes would make claw-like marks in the sand! Weird, huh?
Perfect! Would make for a great poster!

@MadScientist: Thanks MS! If I loved the beach, I would print it and hang it. But truth be told, I am not a beach fan. Other than the sunrises that is!
Oh Tracey, this is so fabulously moody, I love it, and I'll run the distance, no wait, I won't I'll stop and take photos instead ;)

@Lorraine: Stop and take photos, Lorraine! Stop and take photos. No running!
Footprints of what? A horse? A large dog? Whatever it was, I like your vertical composition.

@Judy: What, Judy? You don't like my alien footprints? :0) Just kidding. For explanation, see my reply above!
Really a nice shot. I often like to see footprints in the sand, and wonder where they were going or coming from.

@Viewfinder: Oh, you are a wonderer like me! I do the same thing!
What a moody feel you have created Tracey...I love this and felt compelled to give it 5 stars :)

@bluechameleon: *sigh of relief* I was worried you would not like it! Thanks so much!
Very different with the processing and lack of contrast in the distance. It is also interesting that there are a few people on the beach that early (don't people sleep?!). A very moody image - well done....

Great idea, Tracey. This makes for a nice perspective and very interesting image.

great composition... nice beach.....

Great shot, like the composition and how the eye follows the footprints up the beach.

From where have I come? Where am I going? The tide washes away all evidence, and indeed, this too shall pass.
Wonderfully allegorical and thought-provoking.

Such a lonely image. Love it in b&w. It is very thought provoking. It reminds me just a little of the poem "Footprints In The Sand." Well done Tracey.

Excellent B&W, and the footprints are magic.
14 Aug 2008 8:42pm
Great b&w, love the perspective...

This whole beach series is great, Tracey. You've kept well away from the usual stereotypes of this genre. Love the point of view, the light and the processing.

Love the post-processing, tones are great!
