This was an assignment for Digital Photography School. The theme was "ghetto lighting." A desk lamp with a full spectrum bulb was used as the only light.

ghetto lighting..never heard ghetto used that way before. What exactly is ghetto lighting? I actually thought this was a water splash...nice shot! By the way, thanks for stopping by and commenting on my photo!

@MSD: Ghetto lighting is basically using very primitive tools to set up a specific lighting situation. For example, using a desk lamp with a full spectrum light in it as the only light source. No flash, no strobes. Natural light doesn't count either. A lighter, a desk lamp, a flashlight, etc. used in a purposeful manner for lighting your subject would be considered "ghetto." I hope I was able to answer that question!
