Wow. What a weekend. I wanted to post this image today because to me it is soothing and fall like. I had a busy, hectic, filled weekend without time to breathe, so this image brings peace and stillness to my heart.
All is well and moving along with the Foster Parent program. Brian and I have passed criminal background checks and are collecting all the needed paperwork so we can begin classes soon.
This weekend we had a chance to meet two of our new family members...two goats (a boy and a girl named Shadow and Flappy) that will be joining us at the beginning of November. My kids are over the top excited to add these two cuties (images to come some time after they arrive, I am sure ;0) to our little farm. Me? Not as excited, but happy they will be helping us out by clearing brush in difficult places.
