Wishing Pool

If you look closely you can see the coins that have been tossed into the reflecting pool here in the Conservatory at Longwood Gardens. I often wonder what wish each coin holds. What dreams and hopes are attached to those sunken treasures?

To take this shot of the pool, I lie flat on my stomach with the camera on the lip of the pool. The stares I got were hysterical. The place was very crowded and here was this woman who was sprawled out in a high traffic area. :0)
