I can relate. It was always very hard for us to leave the beach for the last time in each of our many pre-Florida resident vacation years. Very nice photo; looks as if he's stayed until nearly the last ray of the sun has set -- unless this is a sunrise shot, of course.

@Viewfinder: Yes, VF it is difficult to leave, although this was the sun rise. We are in the East Coast :0)

This is wonderful, and the best in this series IMO. The angle of the clouds brings the eye right to your subject and the deep-toned sun reflection in the water. GORGEOUS!

@Observing: Actually, it was the beginning of the day. We went to the beach for sunrise and had to leave to get back to the sleeping kids (who were with adults...I didn't want you to think I abandoned them for some photos! LOL)

This is one of my favorite pass-time, taking photos of the beach. This is lovely.. I like when the sun is positioned as it is here casting a gold path on the water... ohhh, it is perfect. I enjoyed!
