Too Close

The cars in this image are racing for an opening to the track to the bottom right of the image. The crowd is allowed to stand near the fence, which in my opinion, is too close to the action for safety reasons. Even for the greatest shot in the world, I would not stand there.

@Lorraine: Well, I am not sure if he was smart or safe. He was on one of the pit crews. Yes, they have pit crews :0p

wow amazing indeed! seems like you have put just the right amount of space between yourself and the mob of giant bumper-cars! live to photograph another day! :) what a thrill -- i have never seen one of these types of races -- but i can feel the excitement and the tension! another marvelous shot -- love the color!
