Abstract Dandelion

Something different for me. I used the gradient map to create the abstract feel for this one. The next few pics are me trying to work outside of my box and try different things. I don't like it, but I am forcing myself to do it!

How can you not like it? Sure, it might take what you've caught and make it not a true photograph anymore, but there are some pretty cool things you can do.

I thought that my bookmarks had been hijacked when I saw this. It's something that I wasn't expecting from you at all. But the results are great, so keep playing with it.

I can't say I'm too crazy about this. I wonder why you feel you're "boxed in" by your current style? Do you feel like you're not enjoying what you do? I think you have such a remarkable and sensitive eye, so I just wonder why you feel that what you're already doing isn't good enough.

I used to think the same way about Photoshop work.

What got me over it was that I realized I went into a photo and had an end result in mind that I didn't know how to achieve. So I started just playing around and seeing what came of it. I think I learned a lot more that way.

I like it, it's different and most people can tell that you have processed a picture. I love pure pictures as in today's snake, but I think it is fun every once in awhile to experiment with your pictures. It shows variety in your thinking Tracey and that is not a bad thing.
