Man and Bubble

I couldn't decide which I liked better. Which one do you like better?

I think I like the one on the right also - I like the idea of selective coloring but the one on the left has a bit too much of it (and on opposite sides of the image). Looks like a place for wonderful colors - can't wait to see the rest.....

I like the one on the left. The color, makes the man and the bubble the main focus.

I prefer the right one, bubble and man are well separated from the background, so b/w isn't necessary, I think. Nice colourful shot(s)!

Left works for me, on the right the background colours are too bright and detract from the focal points. IMHO off course.

If the background behind the bubbles was not dark then I might vote for number 1 as it would make the bubbles stand out, but as the background is dark, I vote for the full color number 2.

Do you know what you can do? instead of doing your two layers and making one black and white just desaturate the colour for that layer somewhat. That way it's not so stark. So a full colour front layer and paler background. If you're unsure what I mean I'd be happy to e-mail you an example. Love your portrait of your daughter for 6th june too, really beautiful shot.
