This dovecote is on the property of Ladew Topiary Gardens. Dovecotes are found all over the property, but I liked the blooming forsythia in the background. It announces spring's arrival in these parts. I will start posting some more hunt pictures on Monday.

@danthro: A dovecoate is a birdhouse that is made for pigeons or doves. A long time ago, pigeons were used for food. People would build these house to have a constant food source at hand. Now days people build them purely for enjoyment.
That is some birdhouse..! very neat shot.

Great shot. Colours and composition are marvelous. Perhaps cropping the tree on the right, to remove the bit of sky in the top corner, would have added a natural frame.
