Dressed for the Occasion

There were approximently 50 riders dressed and ready for the hunt. The riders show respect to the hosting land owners by dressing in their best attire and making sure their horses are at their best as well. In their words, "You wouldn't show up at a guest's house for a dinner party in your worst clothes."

Great detail on this - and very effective in b&w. A unique look at the horse and rider - I like it a lot.

Stunning monochrome, Tracey ... the detail is incredible! Love the way the sun is lighting the horses coat and the leather in the saddle under the rider's leg.

A very fine shot and the mono works well. Most of all, I admire the framing so as to contain all the riding detail within it.

@Ronnie 2¢: Thanks Ronnie, I was very thoughtful about the framing...trying to utilize the crop as the diagonal line to draw the eye in. I appreciate the compliment!
