@Rags: Thanks Rags :0)
You have captured yourself so well with great lighting and now we know what you look like

@Peter Miller: Yes, you do!! Of course I have had a "happy" picture up all along in my bio ;0)
Nice portrait. How fitting, having the window in the background. A more serious look than that in your about shot. Nice detail and the black and white works well.

@Bonj: Thanks Bonj! I know...the windows. I just can't get away from them.
A wonderful shot - the lighting is great and very effective in b&w. Well done!!

Stunning.

@JC: Awww...thanks :0)
A beautiful portrait, Tracey. You've framed the shot beautifully, and, then, that soft natural light falling on the side of your face ... stunning!

@Ron: Thanks Ron! You are too kind :0)
Beautiful face and beautiful portrait. Very nice use of the available light.

@Graham Russon: Thanks Graham! Self-portraits are difficult for me as I hate having my picture taken. But I think I kinda liked this one :0p
This is a great portrait! Love the light, her expression and pose. Very well done!
27 Mar 2008 2:54pm
@Monte Stevens: Thanks Monte! The expression was mine...it was a self portrait. I don't like to smile for a self-portrait...it never looks natural to me.
Superb self-portrait. I like the side lighting!
27 Mar 2008 4:36pm
@standley: Thanks Standley :0) I didn't have a choice with the lighting. It was the only window I had to work with...I hate flash for a self portrait...and I only had harsh tungsten light. So, I used what I had. Glad you approve!
Great self-portrait - a big "hi Tracey" What are you looking at? Wys
27 Mar 2008 5:19pm
@Wysterior: And a big "hi" right back to ya... I was looking at the side of my vanity in my bathroom. Anywhere but the camera :0p Only truth here!
Hey Tracey..this is a truly professional portrait my friend..superb lighting and expression...fit for any portfolio.. Billy...

@tetsu: Your comment is appreciated Tetsu!
Beautiful portrait! Excellent light!

This is fine, reminding me of the WPA and FSA photos of the 1930s.
29 Mar 2008 6:37am
Oooh I like this! It shows a completely different side to you than your bio pic (although not literally, as in my case). You remind me of the telepath from Minority Report here, but I guess its the lighting and camera angle because your bio pic is totally different (but just as beautiful, if not more so)! =D)

@drphoto: Dan...thanks! (I think :0) I don't know who the telepath is from Minority Report, so I am not sure. But I saw the word "beautiful" in the there, so I am hoping it is a good thing!
